Our impact

Life at sea is harder than it looks from shore

Long rotations, limited connectivity, and months away from the people you know take a real toll. Isolation at sea is a wellbeing issue, and it is the same problem OffWatch was built to work on.

Our commitment

As OffWatch grows, part of our profits will support organisations working to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people at sea.

We are being deliberately careful about what we say here. We have not yet made any donation, we are not yet partnered with any organisation, and we will not name one until that is genuinely true. When it is, this page will say exactly who and exactly what.

What we’re looking for

We are researching established maritime welfare charities whose work directly addresses crew mental health — helplines, port welfare, and support for people in crisis at sea — with transparent governance and a clear route for corporate support.
